Learn about host country healthcare and civil society related to HIV/AIDS. A unique public health focus. SCORA X-Change host countries and their specific programs are showcased, and an international call for participation is published.
Why SCORA X-change?
Learn, gain experience, build skills, and share ideas with local students and professionals on HIV/AIDS and sexual/reproductive health. Compare global situations to your home country.
Navigating the IFMSA exchange system involves a clear process, from international agreements to local distribution. International destination contacts are managed during IFMSA General Assemblies. Nationally, contracts are allocated to our four Local Committees (LCs) during the National General Assembly in September.
Exchange Contracts are signed between two participating National Member Organizations and are of two types:
Bilateral Contracts:
Where the participating countries exchange two students (one from each country) between themselves.
Unilateral Contracts:
here a single student participates in the exchange.
LC Exchange Weeks
Held by each Local Committee (Tunis, Sousse, Monastir, Sfax) after the Local General Assembly, these weeks mark one of the first projects of the mandate.
They serve as a vital event where members are rewarded with exchange contracts based on Exchange Priority Points. It’s also a fantastic way to integrate new members into the Associa-Med’s world and to promote available exchange contracts, destinations, and all relevant details for the upcoming season.
The National Tour serves as the final phase of contract distribution. Any remaining contracts from local LC distributions are made available here.
This means any student from any LC (Tunis, Sousse, Monastir, Sfax) can apply for these leftover contracts. It’s a crucial event for those still seeking an exchange.
