Overall Budget for Exchange
The budget needed to fully enjoy an exchange internship generally varies between 500€ and 1500€, depending on personal expenses, excursions, and extra-professional activities. The majority of outgoings estimate that a budget of 700 to 800€ is sufficient to cover basic expenses (food, local transport, and leisure). However, for those who wish to participate in excursions or social activities, a budget ranging from 1000€ to 1500€ may be necessary, especially if additional expenses like shopping are not included.
