Let’s Beat Diabetes

Let’s Beat Diabetes is a dynamic awareness initiative held from October 19th to 21st, 2025, dedicated to educating the community about diabetes and promoting early detection and prevention. The event was organized in collaboration with the House of Diabetes, strengthening the initiative with expert guidance and community support. The program began with an online training session focused on diabetes—covering its risk factors, prevention strategies, early signs, and the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. This training aimed to equip participants with essential knowledge and prepare them to actively engage in community health promotion. Following the training, the initiative moved from theory to action with a large-scale awareness and screening day at Sahet Beb Diwen. The public square transformed into a lively and engaging space where volunteers interacted with the community, shared valuable information about diabetes prevention, and offered free screening tests. The impact was remarkable: in just a little over two hours, nearly 400 screenings were conducted in a vibrant and energetic atmosphere. This impressive turnout highlighted both the community’s strong interest and the dedication of the volunteers working to promote healthier lives. Through Let’s Beat Diabetes, knowledge was transformed into real action—empowering the community to take charge of their health and fight diabetes together.
