The SCORA committee dedicated the month of December to a series of impactful initiatives for World AIDS Day 2024. Our mission was to raise awareness and provide essential information on HIV/AIDS and STIs, and thanks to a community-wide effort, we achieved a significant reach.
Our campaign included three key initiatives:
- December 1, 2024 – Awareness at Palace Chelly, Sousse: On World AIDS Day, our team hosted an interactive stand in Sehet Chelly. This allowed the public to learn, participate in educational activities, and ask questions freely, creating a safe and open space for discussion.
- December 15, 2024 – Training for the Tunisian Red Crescent: We organized a comprehensive training session for Red Crescent volunteers, providing them with the scientific and practical knowledge needed to become active ambassadors for health in their own communities.
- December 15, 2024 – Awareness at the Faculty of Medicine of Sousse: Medical students took part in an enriching, interactive session focused on key data about HIV/AIDS, prevention strategies, and the critical importance of fighting stigma.
