After months of dedicated work, the 11th edition of Doc’time successfully concluded its health caravan in El Ayoun, in the governorate of Kasserine, on March 3, 2024. This demanding yet rewarding day was the result of a remarkable collective effort. Over 50 specialist doctors and more than 100 student volunteers came together to organize a health caravan that provided more than 1,650 free consultations to over 800 patients. The smiles on the faces of the community members served as a powerful reminder of the project’s significant impact.
The team’s work did not end there. A rigorous follow-up plan has been put in place to build on the caravan’s success. This includes arranging for more than 45 surgical operations, providing 140 pairs of glasses, and 6 hearing aids. This commitment ensures that the initiative will continue to improve the health and well-being of the beneficiaries.
