The SCOPH committee successfully completed its campaign, “NCDs under the scope,” dedicated to raising awareness and promoting prevention of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs). The initiative focused on conditions such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and obesity.
The campaign began with a training session on November 15, 2024, at the Faculty of Medicine of Tunis, which prepared volunteers to effectively engage with the public. Following the training, a free screening day was held on November 19, 2024, in front of the Monastir market.
The initiative’s objective was to inform the public about the risks and impacts of NCDs and to provide practical strategies for prevention. The free screening day was a key component, encouraging early detection and underscoring the message that taking care of one’s health means acting proactively. The campaign successfully promoted the importance of prevention and early detection within the community.
