Behind the Lens: AGOE 2025’s Dynamic Marketing and Communication Session Ignites Creativity
Sousse, March 22-24, 2025, The halls of Hôtel L’Orient Palace buzzed with creative energy during the much-anticipated Marketing and Communication session at AGOE 2025. This wasn’t your typical sit-and-listen workshop; it was a hands-on, immersive experience focused on the art of visual storytelling, encompassing scripting, videography, and post-editing.
The session kicked off with a comprehensive theoretical dive into the fundamentals of effective filming and scripting. Participants gained valuable insights into narrative construction, shot composition, and the psychological impact of visual elements, crucial foundations before diving into practical application.
The real excitement began as attendees were divided into two dynamic groups, each armed with professional camera equipment and a distinct array of tools. Group A, embracing a more controlled and cinematic approach, was equipped with a sturdy tripod, versatile neon tubes for lighting, a professional Microphone, and a selection of specialized lenses. Their task: to meticulously craft a promotional video for a designated t-shirt, focusing on precision and aesthetic control.
Meanwhile, Group B took on a more fluid and dynamic challenge, furnished with a stabilizer, offering greater freedom of movement and a distinct visual style. Their mission was identical, to promote the same t-shirt, but with the creative liberty to interpret the brief through their own unique lens, emphasizing movement and spontaneous capture.
Both groups plunged into the creative process, from initial scripting and conceptualization to acting, filming, and finally, the intricate world of video montage. The atmosphere was one of collaborative innovation, with participants experimenting with different angles, lighting setups, and storytelling techniques.
The culmination of their intensive work arrived in the plenary session, where both meticulously crafted promotional videos were unveiled. The air was thick with anticipation as attendees watched the contrasting interpretations of the same product. Following the presentations, a spirit of friendly competition emerged as an unofficial, amicable vote was held, allowing participants to informally select which group’s vision resonated most effectively.
